How much we don't want bad things to happen but still, * happens right? You can't believe you are in a situation like this and so are the others. Out of all the places in this whole universe you ended up in the parallel world with your friends. What for? Yeah if it wasn't for your cold fish boss and that stupid ritual. Now guess what? You have to fight your evil sides to go back.
Doppelgangers...that's what Yoongi said... Sure... They sound dangerous no matter what. After 5 minutes you got the proof when you came across one. Your legs were shaking but all of you ran for dear life. After a while, which felt like decades you saw your office room from this world.
"Not a good idea to enter." You thought but the others beat you to it. They didn't consider both options and just dragged you in there. Yoongi slammed the door shut and Jungkook barricaded it. The moment the work was done silence filled the whole room. Namjoon went up to the window, Hoseok and Taehyung near your desk, and Yoongi followed suit right after with Seokjin blaming himself over and over again, while Jungkook distanced himself from all the others and sat on a corner.
You being you decided to talk with him. Because you are his best friend, you always know what is he feeling. You quietly sat in front of him, taking his hand in yours. He looked up for a second but then looked away again.
"Jungkook...come on talk to me."
"There's nothing to talk about."
"You are a terrible liar."
Just when he opened his mouth to answer you heard a loud bang on the door. Judging by the horrified looks of the others they probably heard it too.
"Everyone hide!" Hoseok hissed and pushed Taehyung under the table. He, Namjoon, Seokjin and Yoongi hid behind the big couch while you and Jungkook hid in the cupboard. For a reason, all of you knew the door will break eventually but that doesn't make the situation any better. Your heart was racing when the door slammed open making everyone paralyzed for a minute.
"Oh my God, I shouldn't have let them play this stupid game! Now, how am I going to find them?! Taehyung?! Jungkook? Ms.(Y/N)?!!!! Where are you all?!"
Your breath hitched in your throat. You know this voice too well. But...but how can he come here?! Only seven of you played that game right?...right...?
Before you can process anything the others were already out of their hiding places. Once again awkward silence filled the air. You decided to break it
"Mr Park...?"
The moment you opened your mouth the others bombarded Jimin with questions
"What are you doing here?!"
"How the hell did you come here?!"
"How did you find out?!"
"See who decided to show up?" Taehyung taunted him.
"ENOUGH!" Jimin yelled and everyone closed their mouths immediately. He glared at everyone and you looked away from him. Just looking at his angry face made you tense. He understood. How? You have no idea. With a heavy sigh, he started explaining
" I had a bad feeling that you guys will do this stupid ritual. I didn't leave the building, instead I kept an eye on you. That's how I found out that the game went wrong. I purposefully messed up my ritual and that's how I ended up here. On my way, I saw my doppelganger. I'm lucky that I managed to escape..."
"But..why did you take such a risk...?" Hoseok frowned. Hoseok was right. Jimin? Worrying for you all? Sounds like a fairy tale.
"Guys! I may act cold all the time but I swear I care for all of you!" He looked hurt and for a second you felt kinda bad for him.
"Bulls*it! You never cared for us 'Mr Park' tsk." Taehyung scoffed.
"Taehyung, please—
"DON'T EVEN TRY JIMIN! I'M SO F*CKING SICK OF YOU!!" YOU MADE EVERYONE'S LIFE A LIVING HELL?! HOW THE HELL DO YOU THINK WE WILL REACT?! GO TO HELL!!!!!!"
"TAEHYUNG! ENOUGH!" You screamed at him. No one needs another fight to break out in the parallel world. You all might end up dead at this point.
Jimin cleared his throat "I'm going to search for some food and water... Though the time is different here our bodies will work according to our time. We can't survive here without any food or water."
"Mr Park! You can't go alone!"
"Yes! Didn't you say your doppelganger was after you?"
"I will go with him," Taehyung stated.
"No, you won't!"
"I didn't ask for your opinion."
"You are not going. End of discussion."
" You can't stop me."
"Don't you want me to go to hell? If I die now No one will miss me."
"...Just shut up and let me come with you."
"...Fine..."
With that, they left. You still don't understand why Jimin is suddenly being so nice. Something isn't right. You are sure it's not anxiety. Your instincts are always right. But then again you can never be too sure about anything...
Taehyung was silently following Jimin when suddenly he paused near a window. Taehyung paused too. He was going to ask what's wrong but he saw that Jimin was looking at the sky. He noticed that the stars look brighter from here.
"You know Jimin... I missed this side of yours..."
"What...?"
"I love you... I do... You are like my brother...but what happened that made you so cold? We used to be so close... Jimin...will you come back to me...? I promise to be a good brother for you..."
"..." Jimin was quiet and for a second. His eyes flickered from dark brown to red. He quickly looked away. Taehyung didn't notice since he was deep in his thoughts. Jimin looked behind him and whispered so low that no human ear can hear it.
"What do you want...?"
"I want my human aka human Taehyung. You are aware of that Jimin doppelganger. Nice acting by the way."
"Shut up. I won't give him to you. Let me have my fun first. Go away Taehyung doppelganger."
"I swear if you kill him before me then I will bury you alive. Or oh wait I will tell (Y/N) doppelganger to feed you to a shark."
Taehyung doppelganger vanished into thin air and Jimin...or rather Jimin's doppelganger smirked mischievously. No one found out that he is not the real Jimin and that he manipulated every single one of you.
Hoseok was pacing back and forth. Yoongi looked uneasy.
"They are gone for too long..." Seokjin murmured. It was worrying indeed. No sign of Jimin and Taehyung for who knows how long.
"Guys! They are in danger!" Hoseok was panicking so bad that your eyes bulged out of their sockets.
"What's wrong Hoseok?!"
"That wasn't Jimin! He was Jimin's doppelganger!! I just realized that. Guys I saw his watch! And the time was different from ours! If he is the real Jimin then shouldn't his watch will be similar to ours?"
"S*it!"
"We have to go now!!"
No one had to repeat. All of you ran out of the room to find Taehyung. You won't let anything happen to him. The clock is ticking. You are running out of time. Who will come to save you and your friends? Will this nightmare ever end...?
